Pashmina goats perish in harsh winter (New Kerala)

SRINAGAR, February 29: Several hundred Pashmina goats that provide fur for Kashmir’s famed Pashmina shawls have died, while thousands more are on the verge of hunger owing to heavy snow fall in the Ladakh area where they are normally found.
