Kashmir to have its first cancer hospital (Calcutta News)

Jammu and Kashmir will have its first cancer hospital, to be constructed at a cost of Rs.25 billion, functioning by May this year. The 700-bed hospital is being built at Katra, which lies at the base of the hill shrine of Vaishno Devi. Katra is 45 km north of the state’s winter capital, Jammu.
